MNP Leadership Announcement

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In every prayer for all of you, I always pray with

joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of

this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

~ Philippians 1:3

Dear Friends of Mission Nation Publishing,

Christ is risen! Jesus is alive!

We give thanks to God for you, faithful followers of Christ!

It has been a remarkable seven-year journey since Mission Nation Publishing (MNP) began on

January 6, 2016. We are grateful for your support over the years. Through your uplifting prayers, the sharing of your talents, and the generosity of your financial support we have been able to accomplish many things.

As with any entity, there are wonderful blessings as well as challenges and organizational

growing pains. Recently, Rev. Dr. William Schumacher submitted his resignation as President

and CEO of MNP effective April 30, 2023. Dr. Schumacher will use his considerable gifts and talents in other areas even as he continues teaching at Concordia Seminary and serving on the Commission on Theology and Church Relations. The MNP Board of Directors has begun the search for an interim President and is in touch with several highly qualified and gifted candidates. We hope to have new leadership in place this summer. In the meantime, the mission of inspiring and equipping churches goes on as before! Our project directors do an amazing job! Our original mission of telling the stories of missionaries who have

come to the United States has grown and expanded. The Revelation 7.9 pilot project in Georgia and Florida continues helping twenty-two churches learn how to successfully reach a new ethnic group. Learnings from the pilot project will be used to create conferences and coaching for more churches, in and beyond the Florida Georgia District.

We continue to need support from you to inspire and equip churches to reach new ethnic groups.

Your prayers and donations can help sustain us in this challenging moment.

These are exciting times and we are thankful for your continued prayers and support. We will

provide timely updates as we move forward in faith.

Blessings in Christ,

Rev. Dr. Terrence Chan
